The school holidays are nearly upon us, and we're excited to start planning for next term’s Youth Squad! Youth Squad is a great way for kids to get into climbing and make friends. Please read on for the key details for Term 1, 2026.
Session Times
Youth Squad will be split into two groups:
- Group A (8-12 yrs): 4:15pm–5:30pm
- Group B (13-17 yrs): 5:45pm–7:00pm
Sessions will run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Groups will be limited to 8. We may add additional classes depending on demand and coach availability.
Term Dates
Term 1 includes 10 sessions, starting the week of January 27th and finishing the week of March 30th.
Pricing
Classes are $35 per session, paid upfront for the term.
We’ve introduced a new Class Only option for Group A participants who attend Youth Squad but do not visit the gym outside class hours. This option is recommended for children under 10 years old.
Early bird registrations made by January 9th receive a 10% discount.
We also offer a trial session for new participants, giving kids and parents the chance to experience the program before committing to the full term.
What’s Included
- Coached training: Every session is led by one of our friendly and experienced coaches.
- Gear hire: Climbing shoes and chalk are included at no extra cost.
- Unlimited practice: Youth Squad members also receive free casual entry to the gym outside of their scheduled sessions, giving them the chance to climb as often as they like.
- Safe and supportive environment: New climbers under the age of 10 must complete at least one term of Youth Squad before they can climb in the gym without direct coach supervision.
